The Who
Inglot Waterford’s Store Manager, Natasha Kiely, invited myself and some other bloggers and makeup artists into the store for an exclusive VIP event with Niamh Cleary (aka NCMakeup_on Instagram), on Friday last. I jumped at the chance to attend because I’m a huge fan of Niamh’s work and Inglot is one of my favourite brands! If you’d like to find out what my Top 10 Inglot Products are you can read that here => My Top 10 Inglot Must Haves! I featured Niamh awhile back on my series “MUA Focus”, where I ask some of my favourite makeup artists the questions we all want to know, their go to products and showcase their work. If you’d like a read of Niamh’s, you’ll find it here => MUA Focus – Niamh Cleary Niamh demoed a dramatic half cut crease on the lovely ZaneMUA (Instagram) for us and talked us through the Inglot Courses which are becoming increasingly popular!

The Demo
Niamh demoed a teal dramatic half cut crease – one of her favourite looks to do.
Niamh’s Top Tips
- Apply Inglot’s Under Eye Concealer shade 91 with Inglot’s 22T Concealer Brush all over lid and under brow bone. This will cancel out any bluey undertones on the lids and give a blank canvas to work with it. It will also make shadows more intense. Set with a matte cream/white shadow.
- Best fluffy blending brush to use for transition shades is Inglot’s 6ss, Niamh’s favourite.
- Always have a clean brush for each colour you use. This will ensure the best blend.
- To really pack colour onto the lid, use Inglot’s 48ss brush.
- Always blend out the darker colour with the lighter colour you used prior. Again this will give you a smoother blend.
- Niamh fills us in on a little hidden gem of an eyeshadow in the Inglot range, shade 306. Its a deep dark brown and she uses it for nearly every eye look to deepen the outer corners. It’s a gorgeous shade!
- Use Inglot’s Gel Liner shade 68 with the 22T Concealer brush to “cut” the crease.
- To really add sparkle to the lids, Niamh applied Inglot’s Body Sparkles 51, followed by a little duo glue, then Inglot’s Pigment in shade 114 to the inner eyelid.
- Niamh’s favourite brush to apply her eyeliner is actually a lip brush…Inglot’s 12s.
- An absolute kit must have is Inglot’s Gel Liner shade 77…super black and adding a drop of Duraline makes it so easy to work with. When it dries it won’t budge!
- To smudge and deepen the outer corner even more Niamh adds the tiniest drop of Duraline to Inglot’s 13p brush(a must have detailing brush) and smudges the liner into the dark shadow.
- To really open up the eyes apply Inglot 24 onto the tear duct.
- For under the eyes mix the colours you used above on Inglot’s 10s brush – the perfect size and density for the smoked out look.
- Niamh used Inglot 30N Lashes as the finishing touch to the look, they’re dramatic but not too OTT either.

I thoroughly enjoyed the night, and as always loved seeing Niamh do her thing. That was my 4th time seeing Niamh demo and I swear to God she somehow manages to get better every time. I have so much admiration for the girl, so hard working and so driven at such a young age. I know she has a lot of younger followers and I think she is a great role model for them. She continues to get bigger and bigger as a makeup artist in this industry and it’s great to see someone from Waterford do so well. Big thanks to Natasha for inviting me in, I’m already looking forward to the next one.
